Plans Index of Plans: r Safety Warning Do NOT flick the lighter when glue is drying it will blow up in your face. The Versa-Barrel System is VERY handy for anyone that has a desire to shoot a larger variety of crap or has more than one gun. It also allows the breakdown of your gun for easier transport. If you are building your first gun (lets say your barrel diameter is 1.5") instead of gluing on your whole barrel cut off a 4 in long piece of 1.5" and glue it into your reducer. Then on that stub glue a 1.5" female threaded cleanout adapter. On your barrel glue a 1.5" male adapter (not a cleanout cap). Say you want a 2" barrel next so get some 2" pipe and glue a 2" to 1.5" reducer onto it and glue another male adapter into the reducer (may need a stub of 1.5"). And with that you can attach any barrel including DoubleSpud the double barreled barrel. You need: (all PVC Sch. 40 all in inches) (1) 3x3x1.5 T (1) piece of 3in about 3 in long (1) 3in female and male threaded parts (1) 3 to 1.5 bell reducer (1) piece of 1.5 about 48in long (1) Coleman Lantern Sparker (1) Mt. Dew Liter Pop Cap Pvc Glue Assembly Goes As follows: I will assume that u glue them before each step 1. Glue the female part into one end of the T 2. Glue the short piece of 3in into the other end 3. Glue the pop cap into the 1.5 part of the tee 4. Drill a hole into the pop cap jus big enough for the lighter housing 5. Put the male part of the housing inside the gun and put the nut on the outside. Put the lighter in if desired but don't flick it until all glue is dried. 6. Put the bell reducer on the 3in short piece 7. Attach the barrel to the reducer If at all possible make an interchangeable barrel system. this is accomplished by gluing a male piece onto your barrel and a female on to a pipe stub on your gun. (This is great if you have lots of guns like me) Ur Spud gun is now done. Jam a spud in the barrel and about 3 sec of hairspray into the chamber. Screw on the cap and flick the lighter and BAM!! For a more Powerful gun use a 4in diameter chamber and a 1.5 barrel. (it will probably take more than one reducer to get from 4 to 1.5) 1) 3 in 90 degree elbow 1) set of 3in male and female threaded parts 1) Piece of 1.5 in pipe approx. 24in long PVC glue 1) 3 to 1.5 in flat reducer (bell will work but this looks better) 1) Coleman lantern lighter Assembly goes as follows: 1. Glue female threaded part into one end of elbow 2. Glue Flat reducer into other end 3. Glue pipe into flat reducer 4. Fasten Coleman lantern lighter into threaded cap (pain in the butt) with housing. May need to grind down top of cap with a rotary tool and drill a hole, fasten the housing install the lighter and fill the grinded off part with hot glue. 5. Let glue dry overnight Ur Spud gun is now done. Jam a spud in the barrel and about 3 sec of hairspray into the chamber. Screw on the cap and flick the lighter and BAM!! The kicker is much like the SpudZooka but kicks a TON more! Let your spudding illiterate buddies shoot this first to impress them! Parts: (all in inches and sch. 40 Pvc) 1) Male 3" threaded cap 1) female adapter 3" (make sure this part fits OVER the pipe) 1) 10 in piece of 3in pipe 1) 3" to 1.5" reducer 1) 2" to 1.5" reducer 1) piece of 1.5" piping 4" long 1) piece of 2" piping 30" long 1) Coleman lantern lighter (with housing) PVC glue Assembly goes as follows: Glue the female threaded adapter on to one end of the 3" pipe. Then glue the 3" to 1.5" reducer on to the other end. Glue the 4" long piece of 1.5" piping into the 3" to 1.5" reducer. After that glue the 1.5" to 2" reducer onto the 1.5" pipe stub. Then glue the 30" long piece of 2" pipe on the reducer. Now the final and hardest step fasten the Coleman lantern lighter into threaded cap (pain in the butt) with housing. May need to grind down top of cap with a rotary tool and drill a hole, fasten the housing install the lighter and fill the grinded off part with hot glue.
